Cost & Pricing
Understand the main components of RepForce.ai pricing, how minutes are calculated, and what optional fees may apply.
Cost Overview
Main Components
- AI Costs: Billed by the second (fractional minutes). Example: a 30-second call uses 0.5 minutes. Exact rate depends on your plan.
- Carrier Costs: The telecom side (when using RepForce’s carrier) typically rounds up to the next whole minute and is converted to your plan’s minute rate. Rates vary by destination (US/EU/Asia, etc.).
- Number Rental: Monthly fee if you rent numbers. Example: $3.99/mo for US local. Custom provisioning available for other regions (documents may be required).
Optional / Extra Fees
- SMS: If your number is SMS-capable, standard per-message segment pricing applies (varies by country/encoding).
- Voicemail Detection: Billed as 1 minute per call where detection is used.
- High-Volume Discounts: Potential discounts available at tens of thousands of minutes/month.
Pricing Breakdown
RepForce.ai uses a minute-based system. Minutes (credits) are deducted for AI processing and, when applicable, for carrier usage through RepForce. If you use your own carrier (SIP/PBX), their telecom charges are billed by your carrier directly; AI minutes still apply on our side.
Inbound vs. Outbound
- Inbound: Minutes begin when the AI answers and the call is connected.
- Outbound: Minutes begin when the customer answers. Ring time (dialing) is not counted.
- Voicemail: If voicemail answers on outbound, the call is active until voicemail detection triggers end.
- The call remains active until the AI or caller hangs up (or voicemail detection ends it).
How Minutes Are Used
- AI Spoken/Processing Time: Prorated by the second (e.g., 30 seconds = 0.5 min).
- Carrier Conversion (RepForce carrier only): The telecom portion rounds up to the nearest minute, then converts to the plan’s effective per-minute rate and deducts those minutes from your balance.
Example Calculations
| Scenario | AI Minutes | Carrier Minutes* | Total Minutes Deducted | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Outbound call answers, lasts 30s | 0.5 | 1.0 | 1.5 | AI prorated by second; carrier rounds up to 1 minute |
| Inbound call 2m 10s | 2.17 | 3.0 | 5.17 | 2m10s AI billed by second, carrier rounds up to 3 |
| Outbound → voicemail detected | ~0.1–0.2 | 1.0 | ~1.1–1.2 | Detection is billed as 1 min carrier + small AI time |
| Outbound no answer (no pickup) | 0.0 | 0.0 | 0.0 | Dial time not billed; no AI engagement |
*Carrier minutes apply when using RepForce-provisioned numbers/carrier. If you route via your own carrier (SIP/PBX), those telecom charges are billed externally by your carrier.
Number Rental & Regions
- US Local: Typically $3.99/month per number.
- Other Regions: Varies by country and number type (local/national/toll-free). Some require business registration or ID.
